Shrigandha Swastya Program – Ramanagara           On Saturday, 14 February 2026, Shrigandha Foundation visited the Government Polytechnic College, Ramanagara, and conducted a health awareness program for students. The session also included guidance on yoga, personal hygiene, and environmental cleanliness A separate workshop on menstruation was conducted for the girl students by experienced doctors, and reusable sanitary pads were distributed. The girl students, women faculty members, and Shrigandha volunteers who participated in the program gained awareness about menstrual hygiene, the physical changes that occur during adolescence, the importance of using clean sanitary products, and maintaining hygiene to prevent infections. At the same time, Shrigandha volunteers working in senior positions at reputed software companies interacted with the students and provided valuable guidance on topics such as the ongoing and future computer revolution, emerging projects, how the next generation can benefit from Artificial Intelligence, upcoming opportunities in the information technology sector, and how present-day students can prepare themselves for these opportunities. In addition, reusable Ladli sanitary pads worth approximately Rs. 30,000 were distributed free of cost to the girl students, encouraging them to adopt healthy and eco-friendly reusable products. Mrs. Rekha Shashidhar, Founder of Aaswadam Organization, who participated in our program, shared simple yet meaningful spiritual insights with all the students.
